When a loved one dies, it can feel like you’re all alone. Few people understand how painful and isolating your grief can be. This doesn’t mean that you need to suffer alone. At GriefShare, you’ll find a safe, comforting environment where you can talk about your grief. You’ll find support, direction and guidance on your journey. No one will ever know exactly how you feel, but we consider it a privilege to walk along side you.

If you’ve been searching for something more to believe in – rock solid – that doesn’t change with the shifting times and sentiments of our society, this class is for you.
If you’re a Christian who is unsure of what the Bible says and want to grow your knowledge and faith, this class is for you.
If you need a refresher in the foundational teachings of Holy Scripture, this class is for you.
St. Peter tells us, “Be alert and of sober mind for your enemy the Devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.” Join us as we simply sit down and hear what Holy Scripture ACTUALLY says about: who Jesus is, how does God see me, why does evil exist, what happens when I die, what is baptism, what is holy communion, and why should I join a church.
This class typically runs two months on and one month off. Pastor is flexible with scheduling and location email him to set up a time – pastorz@livingwordpetaluma.com
Every week at 11:15 after church we gather and discuss a relevant topic or a specific book or teaching of the bible. For the next 13 weeks we will be studying what many believe to be the most controversial or difficult to read book in all of Scripture, Revelation. There are MANY misconceptions about this book but in reality, Revelation doesn’t say anything “new.” In fact, the vast majority of what St. John wrote in Revelation is said elsewhere in the Bible. That said, it is obvious that we are living in some strange and turbulent times. Typically, this leads people to believe “the end is nigh!” However, we will let Jesus’ revelation to St. John lift the curtain on the “end times” with it’s vivid pictures and symbols. In this bible study we won’t just read about the confidence we Christians have regarding salvation. We will “view” it from the many angles presented in the book.
It is never to late to join – you WILL get something out of it to take with you, give you peace and hope for your daily life.
Our pastor is Benjamin Zamzow. He has eight years of experience in preaching, teaching, counseling and leading a congregation. He holds a Master of Divinity in Pastoral Theology from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary. Mainly, he wants to tell you about who Jesus is, what he has done, why it matters and what it means for your life eternally.
He has a wife and three children who he enjoys spending time with. They love hiking, sight-seeing, going to the beach and a plethora of other activities. They love Petaluma and all it has to offer for a young family.
Before going to college, Ben played in an acoustic rock band and he still loves to go out to open mic nights or play a show from time to time. He also is a passionate student of history – ancient near east, medieval and maritime are his forte. He’s always up for a chat over coffee, wine or beer.
His prayer is that Living Word Lutheran church would be a church that seeks to strengthen and make disciples for Jesus.
